It’s also the place where I share all the details of my trials and tribulations of balancing a full time job, working out, eating right, and still managing to spend good QUALITY time with my husband and two children. Stuff like goal setting, meal planning, nutrition, exercise, healthy eating, creating healthy patterns and routines, establishing a lifestyle that is maintainable and consistent self care are the focus of Happy, Healthy and Well. This is the place where I give you my insights, tips, and tricks to help you have it all, and maybe even more.
You don’t have to spend hours at the gym, eat salads every meal and give up time with your family to be a healthy and successful. I prefer quick workouts that maximize my time, delicious flavorful meals that don’t require hours in the kitchen, and plenty of time to spend with my family.
You too can do all of this and still have plenty of energy at the end of the day. I’m here to show you how.
Hi! I’m Ashley, and I started Happy, Healthy, and Well to help people find a balance between family, career, and health. Over the past three years, I’ve struggled to find this balance. Being a mom, having a career you love, and finding the time to eat right and exercise is so difficult!
So what do I do?
I’m an occupational therapist who has spent 7 years helping people, who have life changing illnesses, get back to being independent. Through my career, I developed an appreciation and understanding for the importance of being healthy. The majority of the people I work with have illnesses that are completely avoidable through proper lifestyle habits. You must make good decisions now, if you want to be healthy later!
After my daughter was born, it became really difficult to balance between family, work, and my health. I thought there just weren’t enough hours in the day. I had to give up one in order to have the time for the other two. My life was cluttered! It was a constant battle and ultimately my health suffered.
Once my son arrived, I decided I had had enough! It was time to get my butt back in shape. The challenge was to find a way to continue working, spend QUALITY time with my family, while also creating and maintaining healthy lifestyle habits and routines.
This is where I share all of the health hacks, tips, tricks, and experiences for finding the perfect balance of family, work, and health.
